Once you've gotten comfortable with insertion, clock-mapping is a great exercise to begin with. This works by treating your vaginal opening like a clockface, where the bottom of the opening (nearest to your perineum)Â is 6 o'clock. Remember:
Apply downward pressure from 3-9 o'clock
Pause and breathe into discomfort as you apply gentle pressure (think the amount of pressure you'd use to test a tomato's ripeness)
