Endometriosis can be anywhere in the body, but there are some common areas that are affected. When endometrial tissue grows outside the uterus, it can cause inflammation, "stickiness," and stiffness. When muscles, organs, and fascia (connective tissue) become sticky and stiff, it can cause pain and pulling. Dr. Collins helps guide you through some self massage techniques to address restrictions in the areas most commonly affected by endometriosis to help create some slide and glide to ease tension and decrease pain.
