This sensual diaphragmatic breath exercise can help you connect to yourself, slow down, and get in touch with what feels good in your body. Exploring the body through the breath can be an incredible way to land us in the present moment- which intuitively improves our sense of safety and ultimately our access to pleasure. An emphasis on the diaphragm stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system which is where we often need to be in order to enjoy sensual and sexual touch. The diaphragm naturally moves in relation to the pelvic floor so from an anatomical stand point if we are focusing on movement and blood flow and attention in above then we are likely getting the benefits of touching the pelvic bowl at the same time.Â
